Why Study Abroad?
Study abroad is a unique and powerful experience that affords eye-opening, challenging, and experiential learning opportunities. When you study abroad, you live abroad – becoming a member of a new culture and country.
TCU students have the opportunity to live, study, and intern all over the world. You might find yourself collaborating with community leaders in Panama to explore sustainability, interning in London to deepen your knowledge of international business, studying art in the shadow of Florentine masters, or improving your language skills by living with a host family. The possibilities are endless.
While abroad, you cultivate cross-cultural communication skills, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, adaptability, self-reliance, and international awareness. Our students return to TCU with new skillsets and perspectives, better equipped to succeed in the global economy.
Where Can I Go?
TCU students can study abroad on yearlong, semester and summer programs in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America. TCU runs its own semester programs in Florence, Italy; London, England; and Seville, Spain. Each year, the university also offers 15 – 20 summer faculty-led programs around the world.
Through our Partner Programs, TCU students can study abroad in even more places, from China to France. Other types of international opportunities include the TCU Global Academy and international internship programs. You can explore all of our programs using the Program Search.
